Eden Mansion is a luxury 5 star Bed & Breakfast located just 2.5 miles from the famous Royal & Ancient golf course of St. Andrews, ‘the Home of Golf.’
This magnificent historic mansion was built by Scotland’s first Whisky family, the Haig dynasty. It has hosted many notable, famous people down through the ages. Now you can come and stay in this luxurious mansion and become part of its history for less than an equivalent 5 star hotel room.
Choose from our tastefully decorated and lavishly furnished bedrooms full of period charm combined with modern convenience, including luxury en-suite bathrooms, complementary Sky TV and free Wi-Fi.
Our delicious breakfasts are served in the grand drawing room overlooking mature garden grounds. Choose from our extensive menu of freshly cooked to order dishes, which encompasses the best of local Scottish cuisine. Continental pastries, cereals, fruit etc. are also available from our buffet table. Free parking is readily available on-site.
Only half of the available Old Course Tee Times can be booked in advance with the other tee times are allocated to ‘The Ballot’ system. The Ballot is essentially a raffle… Golfers must enter the ballot by 2pm, (minimum of 2 & maximum of 4 players) 48 hours before they would like to play and the results are published at 4.30pm on the same day.
As part of your Package for the Open Championships 2018, our team will enter you into the Old Course Ballot for each day that you are playing golf in St. Andrews. If successful, you will be able to enjoy 18 holes on the Old Course instead of playing your scheduled round on that day. However, please note that a £100pp supplement will apply if you are successful in the Ballot and entrance into the Ballot is not compulsory.
